Cannabis is medicine.

This core principle brought together Jessilyn Dolan, Geoffrey Pizzutillo, and Amelia Machia in 2020, after they had individually advocated against the passing of Act 164. Realizing the need for patient, caregiver, and cannabis healthcare worker representation in the State House, the three began working together to fight for an expanded medical program that is equitable, accessible and affordable.

In 2022, after two years of working together and with the Cannabis Control Board, they formed Green Mountain Patients Alliance.

Our mission is simple: Advocating for equitable access to cannabis for medicinal use in Vermont.
